No. Nastrum Books is a web app. Open your browser, sign up, and you're running. It works on desktop, tablet, and mobile. No downloads, no updates to manage.

Most users are sending their first invoice within 10 minutes. Setting up your company profile, adding a customer, and creating an invoice takes about 5 to 10 minutes. Importing existing data from another system takes a bit longer.

Yes. You can import customers, vendors, and items from CSV files. We're adding more import options over time. If you need help migrating from a specific tool, email us at hello@nastrumbooks.com.

No. Nastrum Books is designed for business owners, not just accountants. The language is plain, the flows are simple, and every report is built to be understood by someone running a business, not just someone with a degree in accounting.

All plans include all 50 features. The only differences are how many companies you can manage, how many users you can add, and how much storage you get. Solo is 1 company, 1 user. Team adds up to 5 users. Studio supports 3 companies with 5 users each. Firm is a custom plan for accounting practices managing 5+ companies.

Yes. Upgrade or downgrade at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan until then.

We'll notify you well before you hit the limit. No surprise charges, no automatic upgrades, no files deleted. You choose whether to upgrade your plan or remove old attachments to free up space.

Annual billing gives you 2 months free, effectively a 17% discount. Team goes from $9/mo to $7.50/mo. Studio from $29/mo to $24/mo. If you're committed to the platform, annual billing is the better deal.

Yes. If you're not satisfied within the first 14 days of a paid plan, email hello@nastrumbooks.com and we'll refund you in full, no questions asked.

Yes. We offer AED pricing for UAE and GCC businesses, and INR pricing for India. Contact us at hello@nastrumbooks.com and we'll set it up for your account.

Yes, and it's built in on every plan, including the free one. You can invoice in any of 150+ currencies, lock exchange rates on individual documents, and all reports are available in your base currency. AED, USD, INR, EUR, GBP and more are supported out of the box.

Yes. UAE VAT (5%) and India GST (CGST + SGST + IGST) are both supported with dedicated tax report outputs. You can also configure custom tax rates for any other country or jurisdiction.

Yes. The Studio plan supports 3 companies and the Firm plan supports 5+ companies. You switch between them instantly from the top navigation, no separate logins.

Yes. The built-in Accountant role gives access to all financial modules but restricts settings and team management. You can also create a fully custom role with exactly the permissions you want.

Yes. Connect your preferred email delivery method: Brevo, EmailJS, or your own custom SMTP. Invoices, estimates, purchase orders, and statements are all emailed directly from within Nastrum Books, from your own domain.

Yes. Every invoice, estimate, statement, and purchase order generates a professional PDF with your company logo and brand colour. On paid plans, the Nastrum Books watermark is removed. It's fully white-label.

Nastrum Books is a fully responsive web app. It works on any device in your browser without needing to download anything. A dedicated native mobile app is on our roadmap.

Your financial data is stored in a Supabase (PostgreSQL) database with row-level security, meaning your data is logically isolated from other users at the database level. File attachments are stored on Cloudflare R2. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

Yes. You can export customers, vendors, transactions, and reports to CSV at any time. You're never locked in.

Your data is retained for 30 days after cancellation so you can export anything you need. After 30 days it is permanently deleted from our systems.

We follow GDPR principles: data minimisation, purpose limitation, user rights (access, correction, deletion, portability). If you process data of EU residents, you can use Nastrum Books in compliance with GDPR. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
